I live out of area but had to find someone to cater my father's wake. I was looking specifically for a company that offered mocktails. Bernwood Catering has a specific mocktail menu. I contacted 3 caterers but still went with Bernwood. Chef Ron was so great to work with on picking the food and the bar. He was willing to allow my family to be servers for the event - something I wanted to do because we were saying thank you to Dad's friends and caregivers. Chef Ron had enough forethought to catch where my family might not have enough experience and had just enough staff on site to make the event flow exceedingly well. Our guests were thrilled with the food (lobster bisque martini, ceviche shooters, apricot brie pastries, and BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp skewers we passed as well as the charcuterie display) and giggled over the mocktail selections of Nohitos, No gin fizzes and 0 alcohol beer! Chef Ron also made the suggestion for an ice sculpture that said "Thank you all". It wowed our guests making them feel extra special and appreciated. It is those extra touches that I would never have thought to ask about that really proved my gut had been right in choosing Bernwood!

Bernwood Catering/Chef Ron delivered to our home an outstanding meal, courtesy of a friend. Everything was so delicious; appetizers (charcuterie, chips, dips, bruschetta), salad, and desserts (cannoli, cookies, tarts and more)! We enjoyed chicken piccata, grouper, steak and lamb (some of the best we’ve ever had). What an awesome experience! We would truly recommend Chef Ron and Bernwood Catering.

Chef Ron and his assistant Amber helped our family create outstanding menu and food presentation for our mom's 95th birthday bash. Our guests raved about the appetizers of passed oysters Rockefeller, and spring rolls. Stationary platters of appetizers were beautifully presented. The carved beef , and chicken dishes were tender and delicious!. The bartender , chef, and wait staff were courteous and professional. Amazing event!

Chef Ron did an amazing job handling all of our needs catering our event. The food was amazing, it was delivered on time and was set up on banquet tables ready to serve. Everyone raved about how good the food was I just want to thank them for making our event a success!

Ron knew exactly what we needed for a small 90th birthday party for our mother. The food was delicious and he set up our appetizer buffet beautifully. The house made chips are a must!! Highly recommend!!
